Shelf Stocker
Key Responsibilities
The Shelf Stocker is responsible for maintaining the accurate organization and arrangement of products within the pharmacy, ensuring that items are easily accessible to customers and that a clean, organized, and convenient shopping experience is provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrange products on shelves according to their correct categories and ensure easy customer access.
- Ensure all products are displayed in a neat, clear, and organized manner, free from clutter or overcrowding.
- Monitor product expiry dates and remove expired or near-expiry items.
- Track stock levels on shelves and inform the store or warehouse staff when replenishment is needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of shelves and product display areas.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure attractive and safe product displays.
- Rotate stock by placing older products in front to ensure proper product rotation (FIFO system).
- Assist customers when needed and guide them to product locations within the pharmacy.
- Ensure labels and prices are correctly and clearly displayed on shelves.
- Perform any other tasks related to product organization and operational efficiency as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Education / Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma (previous experience in merchandising or retail is preferred).
Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail stores, or pharmacies is preferred but not mandatory.
